We've decided to create a new blog for Jack because in less than a year his Web site will no longer be available unless we pay for it again. It's been ages since I posted any info about Jack and there really is no reason for it. Jack's eating solids now - oatmeal, applesauce, pears, etc - he's tried a lot of them and doesn't really have a favorite - here's him trying peas for the first time.
Jack had his 6 month appt last Friday and he is now up to 19 lbs 8 oz and 28 inches long. He's still wearing some 0-3 month pants and 3-6 month clothes. He's such a happy little boy. He laughs often, smiles often and is content to play by himself and some toys. We are truly blessed and couldn't have hoped or wished for a better baby. He rolls from front to back and from back to front now. He pushes himself up on his arms, but no crawling just yet. 
His favorite thing at the moment is his jumperoo that his cousin Owen kindly let him use. You put him in there and he just jumps and jumps like it's going out of style. He takes naps in his crib now and everything is falling into place with him. It's such a pleasure to watch him learn new things and grow up, even though he is my baby and I don't want him to grow up - but that's life isn't it? Christmas is 3 days away and we're so excited to be seeing it through his eyes - even though he doesn't know what it is yet, it's still a fun time for us. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
