It's a New Year already. Can't even believe how fast 2009 passed us by. Jack is doing so well in school, learning so much and absolutely loves going to his babysitter's Francine's house 3 days a week. He's the most polite little boy I know. He says please after asking for anything, and always thank you and you're welcome. He has been quite the handful lately though with waking up in the night and being sassy, so the terrible 2's/terrible 3's are definitely coming into full force. We've had no success with potty training -he knows what the potty is and he likes being naked and sitting on it, but hasn't done anything on it yet. We're hoping by the time he turns 3 he'll be trained..I don't really want 2 babies in diapers - so we'll see.
15 weeks pregnant - started feeling Bean move today..just little flutters..you forget what an amazing feeling that is. Mom came to visit us this weekend and Jack was glued to her the minute she walked in the door. Jack can't get enough of her! Then Mark and Mom moved the furniture from the guest room to the new guest room because the old guest room will now be the baby's room. So on mom's next visit down here - we'll be doing some painting!!
The weekend after - Jack's best friend Jenna came to visit us. We all had fun just hanging out and playing the Wii. I got a haircut that weekend as well - very very short. The shortest I've ever had it..but it's now growing on me and I love it. I think I just need to lighten it up a bit.
18 weeks pregnant - on Sunday Jan 30th - Bean was moving around like crazy -doing somersaults- I think it was because Jack was really being horrible that day and not listening and having to sit in the naughty chair.
We leave for Florida on Feb 8 and we can't wait!!! We'll be gone for 10 days and it'll be such a peaceful and relaxing time for all of us. Then the day after we get back Feb 18, we have our big ultrasound on the 19th to find out if we're Team Pink or Team Blue! Can't wait!!!

Hi! I can't believe I only just found your blog! Wow Jack is so big now. I also can't believe I haven't congratulated you on Ellis Jr the 2nd...apologies and HUGE CONGRATULATIONS!! I wouldn't worry about the potty training. He'll do it when he's ready. Roisin wasn't completely out of nappies until she was 3 and even then still had the odd accident when she was concentrating really hard on something. She kind of did it stealthily. We'd wonder where she was & go to her room & find her doing a sneaky wee on the potty or something! Anyhoo, good luck with that. Can't wait to find out what the Bean is :-) Look forward to hearing more about you and yours. Love to you all xxx
Thanks Sarah!! Jack is definitely getting big! I can't even believe it! Thank you for the congrats on Baby #2. I'm not worried too much about potty training...I just wonder when it'll happen. Hope you're all well!! Will keep you posted on what Bean is! Love to you all!!xxx
